Along with residential solar panel systems, residential or individual use wind turbines is also a 'FAN'-tastic addition to what we now call 'individual use gigawatt factories'.  

A small wind turbine typically generates between 20 watts and 100 kilowatts of power, with "micro" turbines producing as little as 20-500 watts, often used for charging batteries on recreational vehicles or sailboats.
